The Stephen Steves used a 5-run 1st inning to pick up their 2nd win of the season in a 6-2 victory over the St. Wendel Saints in a South Division ballgame.  The Saints got an rbi single from Taylor Nitz in the top of the 1st to score Beau Maciej and give St. Wendel a 1-0 lead.  But then the Steves came up with 5 runs in their half of the 1st, keyed by a Blake Guggenberger rbi single to score Rick Hendrickson and tie it up 1-1.  After a Tony Schmitz double, Ben Omann gave the Steves the lead with a 2-round double and it was 3-1.  TJ Bevens singled and then a 2-run single by Ben Bierscheid made it 5-1 after 1 inning.  Taylor Nitz drove in his 2nd run for the Saints with a single in the 3rd to make it 5-2.  It stayed that way until Ben Omann led off the bottom of the 8th with a solo Homer for the final run of the game and a 6-2 Steves win. Nick Krippner went the first 5 innings for the WIn with Blake Guggenberger earning a 4-inning Save.
