The Buckman Billygoats beat the Nisswa Lightning 6-2 on Saturday night behind Mark Kahl's Complete Game. Kahl struck out 9, didn't walk a man and hit 1 batter in perhaps the best pitching performance of his career.  Buckman scored in the top of the 1st when Shawn Lanners delivered a sacrifice fly to score Lane Girtz to make it 1-0.  Kahl gave up a lead-off double in the 1st to Drew Boland, the a single to Jeremiah Piepkorn to put runners at the corners with no outs.  But then Kahl got Jason Roepke to bounce back to the mound for the 1-6-3 double play, with Boland holding at 3rd.  A ground out to 3rd ended the 1st with the Goats holding a 1-0 lead.   It remained 1-0 through 4 innings before Buckman got Lane Girtz on base on a 1-out single.  Girtz stole 2nd and eventually scored on a sacrifice fly by Joe Kahl to make it 2-0.  Nisswa scored in the bottom of the 5th when Morgan Shepherd singled to center with 1 out.  He was wild-pitched to 2nd, advanced to 3rd on fly ball to right, then scored on a wild pitch to make it 2-1 after 5.  After a scoreless 6th inning, Buckman struck for 3 runs in the top of the 7th.  Mark Kahl started it with a double to left-center.  Jack Suska then beat out a bunt single.  Lane Girtz then laced a triple to right-center, plating both Kahl and Suska, and then Girtz was awarded home when the throw to the plate ricocheted into the Nisswa dugout and it was 5-1.  Joe Kahl hit the first pitch of the 9th inning over the wall in right for a solo shot and Buckman's lead had grown to 6-1.  Aaron Jenkins led off the bottom of the 9th with his own solo Homer to make it 6-2, but Kahl got a strikeout, a fly to center and a game-ending grounder to 2nd to finish off the 6-2 Buckman win.
