The Swanville Swans earned an 8-5 win over the visiting Pierz Brewers on Sunday.  Swanville starting pitcher Levi Beseman was able to get out of some early bases-loaded jams as Pierz filled the bases in both the 2nd and 3rd innings but were able to come away with only 1 run.  In the top of the 3rd, Jesse Marshik singled to drive in a run and give the Brewers a 1-0 lead.  Swanville responded in the bottom of the 3rd when Colton Kruzel smashed his first career Home Run in the Victory League, a 2-run blast to right-center, to  to give the Swans a 2-1 lead. In the bottom of the 4th, Swanville added to their lead with an rbi single by Tren Dinius and a 2-run triple off the bat of Jordon Sales to make it 5-1.  In the bottom of the 5th, it was Colton Kruzel leading off the inning with ANOTHER Homer, this one to left for a 6-1 lead.  In the 6th, Jordon Sales drove in his 2nd run of the game with a sacrifice fly and Levi Beseman added a run-scoring single to make it 8-1. In the top of the 7th, the Brewers got a 2-run single from Eric Boser and an rbi single by Jesse Marshik to make it 8-4, with Brandon Stuckmayer getting the games final run home with a grounder and the Swans took the 8-5 victory.
